满床春水

　　Allen Meneric is committed to a psychiatric institution for the criminally insane because of a brutal revenge murder. There he is forced to deal with the very ill and the dangerous until, as part of a socialization program, he is transferred to minimum security where he meets Mia, a beautiful bipolar female inmate. Ever haunted by his past, Allen seeks his redemption when sudden events demand that he protect Mia from the violence and chaos of the institution.

　　一天，宇宙開發中心的上空發現了來歷不明的太空船，一名神秘女子出現，中心繼而受到兩隻怪獸的襲擊。超人高斯及時出現，但怪獸極之頑強，高斯幾乎不敵，幸得春野武藏之助，二人融為一體後始威力大增，而正當怪獸快被擊退之際，另一個超人迪斯忽然出現，她竟然出手阻止高斯保護地球，最後竟令高斯及武藏死於怪獸之手。太空船的目的到底是什麼？　　原來，神秘女子來地球竟是為了維持宇宙的秩序，而要把地球上所有生物全部消滅！為了自救，地球各國各盡辦法，但似乎，高斯的死已是提前判了死刑。地球即將毀於一旦，大家了無辦法，除非奇蹟出現…然而，武藏的親人和隊友都堅信高斯和武藏未死，他們四出奔走，希望奇蹟真的出現！

　　1916年，第一次世界大战期间的法国，德法两军的战争如火如荼。值此关键时刻，法国陆军将军布洛拉德（Adolphe Menjou 饰）向陆军上尉达克斯（柯克·道格拉斯 Kirk Douglas 饰）率领的部队下了一道命令：不惜一切代价攻下德军占领的安特山。军令如山，即使前方刀山火海，战士们仍拼死向前冲去。结局可想而知，在敌人密集的炮火下，法军冲锋失败，伤亡惨重。为了掩盖自己的指挥失误，布洛拉德抓捕三名无辜士兵作代罪羔羊，以临阵脱逃等罪名将他们判处死刑。为了士兵的利益，达克斯上尉奋力争取，却在这一过程中渐渐看清军官和战争的丑恶……　　本片根据汉弗雷·科比（Humphrey Cobb）1935年的小说《光荣之路》改编荣获1959年意大利国家影评人协会银带奖最佳外语片导演奖、1958年芬兰影艺学院奖最佳导演奖。
